stop running “tests” that teach you nothing.
you changed the hook AND the LP AND the offer AND the creative.
it flopped.
what did you learn?
nothing. because you strummed all 6 strings at once and now you don’t know which one was off.
one variable. one test. that’s it.
correct me if i’m wrong but here’s how i think about offer.
when people hear “offer” they think price. slapping .99 at the end isn’t an offer.
your offer is 4 levers stacked so tight saying no feels dumb:
→ Bundle + Pricing : don’t discount. reframe. 90-day kit > 3 bottles.
→ Bonuses (free stuff) : each one kills a specific objection. quick start guide costs nothing, stacks value.
→ Urgency : no reason to buy today = no sale.
→ Guarantee : risk reversal can 2x CVR alone. “what if it doesn’t work?” gone.
each layer compounds. by the time they see the price, it’s a no brainer.
You don’t need more information.
You need more action.
You’ve watched the videos.
Read the threads.

Nothing changed.
Because knowledge without action is entertainment.
If nothing changes, nothing changes.
your hook isn't the problem.
your market already heard it 47 times this week.
"lose weight" → dead
"lose 30 lbs" → dead
"lose 30 lbs with keto" → dying
the game isn't louder. it's different.
new mechanism. undeniable proof. or stay stuck forever wondering why your ads don't scale.
most brands are 3 levels behind their market and have no idea.
that's the gap.
I went through a phase where I thought I understood my customer because I could describe them in a sentence.
"Women 25-45 who want better skin."
That's not research. That's a guess wearing a costume.
The turning point for me was realizing research isn't one thing. It's three layers that stack on top of each other.
1. Product-Market Awareness + Market Sophistication
Where does your buyer actually sit on the awareness spectrum? Are they unaware they have a problem? Problem aware but don't know solutions exist? Already comparing products?
And how sophisticated is the market? Have they seen every claim, every angle, every mechanism already? Or is this still relatively fresh territory?
This changes everything. Your hook. Your proof. Your offer structure. Your LP length.
I've seen brands burn through six figures because they wrote "most aware" copy to a "problem aware" audience. Or used a played-out mechanism in a market that's seen it 100 times.
2. Competitor / Market Research
What's the market already being exposed to? What hooks keep showing up? What do the 2-3 star reviews say?
This isn't about copying. It's about understanding what beliefs are already installed in your customer's head before they ever see your ad.
3. Psychographics
This is the one most people skip entirely or do in 20 minutes.
You need their actual words. The real VoC. How they describe their pain. What they've already tried. What they believe is really holding them back.
Reddit. Amazon reviews. Facebook groups. YouTube comments. Trustpilot. Forums.
Get out of your head and into theirs.
Once you have all three, take everything and drop it into Claude. Ask for one unified ICP brief.
Now you have a single document with awareness level, market sophistication, competitor context, objections, and language patterns.
That's research. Not a persona you invented.
