I've been doing a thing lately. Dumping my thoughts in a somewhat structured manner, on a space not fueled by ads and personal data collection.

Latest example: their customer service is now only through live chat. Go use the live chat widget. Even during business hours, you’re only offered to leave a message and sends an email stating they will contact you back within 2 business days. Never happens.
So I got my car stolen while being rented out through @Carhood_ . 10 months ago. Still waiting for them to pay me their insurance excess, and my earnings. Horrendous client service. Unresponsive. No follow-up. I’m still waiting for $3.5k One recommendation: don’t use.
@AirCanada your marketing emails provide a TERRIBLE user experience. I want to unsubscribe. In one click. I’m being redirected to different countries and have to fill in a form. I shouldn’t need to. I didn’t sign up for ads in the first place.
- Stops working on JS code base for a couple of months.
- Gets back at it, fresh-minded and spirited.
#webpack and friends explode at my face with good ol' undecipherable errors. _WEBPACK_IMPORTED_MODULE_2__. is not a function. You bet.
@TigerairAU is yet another one of these companies that think they can implement better form experiences than everyone else. Result: slow, janky input typing, and a crashed mobile browser.
Aaaand it's that time of the year again. No, not Christmas. But re-configure-your-shiny-new-JS-build-tool Day. Switched a project from @babeljs 6 to 7. Obviously, the world explodes, error messages are confusing, and doc assumes knowledge I don't have.
@Polygon I know, I'm one of those ad-blocker users. But I'd love to support your work. Can't seem to find a paid / ad-free membership plan type. Are you peeps considering this approach?
Not once. Not even once have I been able to trigger a "button" from @Apple imbecile touch bar on the first attempt. This is a joke. A bitter, expensive one.
YES! Just received this email. @Zendesk this is awesome. "We wanted to let you know that, starting June 3, 2019, Zendesk will no longer be supporting Microsoft Internet Explorer for any of our products"
Another day, another #sketchnote from #softwareArtThou. Glen Vanderburg @glv talks about "Real Software Engineering". Are developers engineers, artists, creatives? Thanks @zendesk and @JeffreyTheobald. Full talk available at https://t.co/OIaLtzur46
