@beardpappa This is all new to me, didn't know there was a regular 5K nearby. We are attempting the Singapore Marathon 5k. Previous years we did the 600m, so this is quite a stretch goal 😁

@noIPv6 My issue is different, one of credibility. I am evangelising. Telling Ops that IPv6 is essential *today*? They look around their network, the only thing with an AAAA record *presently* is the web server, courtesy of #Cloudflare . What present?

@noIPv6 Oh, definitely, and Singapore is probably lagging here. But this is IPv6-capable. Not IPv6-using.

@noIPv6 The problem with telling network engineers, from enterprise and service providers, that IPv6 is here now, is that they might agree, politely, and back away slowly.

It is like electric cars. Telling the car workshop they are the present will get you polite nods and a cup of tea.
