@YourDivineGhost@Thirteenthsteps Plus Japan has always had a much smaller PC building scene than the US, which I think is the main competition here. Or at least the most vocal group.
@sumnerslove@Obsidrius It's also really contextual.
5/10 minutes late when we're just hanging at my place to relax and watch a cartoon or something? Fine.
5/10 minutes when we're gonna miss a movie showing or lose a reservation? Nah.
@Kru7z@severeerror52 "Surely the person with the header "the internet is for porn" can be shamed by me calling them a gooner! I must be the wittiest person alive!"
@SpoonieSexer I'd argue the line between console and PC is blurrier than people think, and this deliberately blurs that boundary.
Also, extremely online gamers don't understand that most people don't game on "modern" specs.
@HappiestAku@Richardw55@nairolf1337 The only people who act like "console" and "pc" are mutually exclusive terms are people who don't understand the tech behind either.
@HappiestAku@Richardw55@nairolf1337 But you can get a console-like experience with it. Because it's deliberately designed to blend the two. The fact of the matter is that pretty much every component in it has skyrocketed in price over the last two years, and console price is lagging behind the market.
@Kru7z@severeerror52 I think you'll find
A) that more people prefer to game from their couch
B) the number of games you can play is nowhere near as limited as you'd think
I'm not buying one, but I use Linux Mint and Steam Proton is literally the most versatile compatability layer I've seen. Ever.
@TwkLeo@viotubing Women streamers hiding their relationship status so they don't get flamed by incels is perfectly reasonable and yes, Asmon is a fucking moron.
