Japan’s longest-running rape crisis center was denied funding after the facility’s director was criticized for not referring to ‘transgender women’ as ‘women.’

Tokyo’s Rape Crisis Center was founded in 1983 by six women, half of whom were survivors of sexual assault. Michiko Orita, one of the founders, said she was harassed by a government official for protecting single sex services for rape survivors.

“Male self-identified ‘women’ ignore the purpose of having a women-only space,” Orita said. “The desire not to have physical men in women-only spaces is not prejudice or a discriminatory attitude, but comes from evidence-based reality.”

I am pretty obsessed with retweeting these videos and getting as many people to see them as possible. Not just because I hate Andrew Tate, though I do, but because he is openly talking about the inner workings of the sex trade. So many people think women enter prostitution because of some moral failing. This man openly reveals all the tricks pimps use to coercively control and manipulate women and girls into prostitution.

Any leftist who thinks the sex industry is some wonderful bastion of sexual liberation should be reminded that there are millions of Andrew Tates actively benefitting from their advocacy of industrialized sexual exploitation. They should know the levels of sadism required to trap women in the sex trade. Any rightist who thinks women in prostitution are just moral failures should be aware of the level of coercion involved, and that the moral failings belong only to these Machiavellian sadists.
