It's a history of psychedelics, their growing use in various types of therapy, as well as extensive descriptions of the experience you describe. The possibilities in therapy are really exciting. When you're jolted into the present moment, there is only consciousness/awareness. No person, no time, no chattering mind. Just an aware presence.
