@NeverSinkDev we've been very careful about how we allow ai use (large very technical saas), but the main problem we're seeing is mismatch between output and review. so you get to a point where you might need to reduce human review just to keep up, which is totally insane. to be continued.
@PrescottRamseyX@StanCollymore That's not true and you're using a racist argument. France players are French and besides Olise they all grew up, went to school and were formed in France. They have their friends and memories in France. They're from Africa ethnically but they're not "African players"
@arsenalluke84@StanCollymore I don't think you can make constraints like that because you don't know what's in their hearts. What should be done though is if you chose a country at any level then you need to stick to it. You can't do U16, U17, U18, U20, U21 with one country then switch. Makes no sense.
@GarrettPetersen my proposal: a player is offside only if, after projecting their position onto an 11-dimensional goal-threat manifold, their left shoulder occupies a region with higher attacking probability density than the defender's allowable coverage vector.
@Normalssbbbx the actual reason is that headers and tap ins exist. by forcing the fouled player you might be putting the fouled team in a worse situation (eg. defenders are great at headers but shit at shooting). so you compensate by allowing them to choose.
@NeverSinkDev fable is very well tuned, feels like a real step up, it actually impressed me by its lack of bullshit on an rfc i'm working on. very very precise without going overboard in explanations. feels human. still prefer to write it myself but it was impressive.
@AdamBeneve@BSauzee@MohLeDroniste you can't react to a penalty kick, you have to commit to a side or stay put. the difference here is just moving laterally vs diving if you know the player statistically prefers top positions.
@Jokereed yes ideally they let private servers enroll in an authorized modding program. turtle is still the best version of classic i have ever played and it's a shame it doesn't exist anymore from a purely creative perspective
@oheyspun with your definition is gw1 an mmo or not? i would say no but it was still called an mmo at the time despite arenanet wanting to call it an online co-op game. i would drop persistant.
