@Ticketmaster care to explain this ??? #hilaryduff

[Ghita Benslimane @GhitaTweets]

@BenFischerSBJ Odd wonder why they switched them. Ons’ game was supposed to start at 2 and still nothing…

[Ghita Benslimane @GhitaTweets]

@jimmy_farring Hi @jimmy_farring Ghita from @brutamerica here. Could we feature this clip in a video about the crane falling with credit to you? Thank you for your time!

Both programs offer valuable tools but they are absolutely not interchangeable. Engagement journalism is the new frontier of journalism and to "pause" this program without any consideration for the long-term, is a serious misfire. (12)

[Ghita Benslimane @GhitaTweets]

@newmarkjschool 2/ It also seems no one who is actually part of the program (current students, faculty, program heads) were consulted prior to this decision, which is especially hurtful and ironic given the nature of engagement journalism???

[Ghita Benslimane @GhitaTweets]

1/ As a @newmarkjschool #engageJ alum, it's really disheartening to see how a "pause" on our program was handled. After months of saving up and making arrangements, incoming students have been blindsided into switching programs.

[Stephen Wentzell @StephenWentzell]

I was one of the students accepted to @newmarkjschool’s Engagement Journalism program — the only program of its kind in the U.S. — this fall.

I found out in late-May it’s being put “on pause” after apartment hunting, starting visa process, and giving notice to employers.

[Ghita Benslimane @GhitaTweets]

@StephenWentzell @newmarkjschool As an engagement program alum, I'm so sorry to hear about this. Not OK in the slightest.

“Can you identify the clitoris? Would you take a birth control pill for men? Can you name a female athlete?”

In 2017, she went viral for her perfect response to slut-shaming. Now, it’s Samirah Raheem’s (@thisishowispeak) turn to ask men some questions ...

A man she met on Tinder sent her an STD test … Only it turned out to be fake.

With just $20 and a few minutes to spare, anybody could obtain a fake STD test. Brut reporter Ghita Benslimane tested out how easy it is to generate one …

Thanks to @SageTheFlame1.

To celebrate, here's our favorite clip of Tucker being told to his face that he is the worst human being.

Flaco, a Eurasian eagle-owl that escaped the Central Park Zoo, has become a symbol of freedom. For @brutamerica, I joined David Barrett (@BirdCentralPark) on a trip to see NYC’s latest celebrity bird…

Meet Flaco, the owl that escaped the Central Park Zoo and has become a symbol of freedom and resilience. Brut joined bird-watcher David Barrett, the founder of Manhattan Bird Alert @birdcentralpark, on a trip to see NYC's latest bird celebrity.
