@stoolpresidente ND’s schedule in 2026 and moving forward will only allow them to be in that top 12 if they are undefeated. All traditional powers are going to strangle hold them into joining a conference. I foresee ND having very weak schedules for the foreseeable future until they do so.

This is why #Izzo is a special coach. He understands that college basketball is exactly that. Students playing a game, and students watching. Enjoy the moments, the 4yrs go fast! Coaches, AD’s, and conferences need to follow the lead of this man and try to keep College BB pure.

@jacksoble56 The future schedules will be even weaker. It’ll only be harder to schedule moving forward with the reality of the present CFP format. ND is a non desirable for anyone’s non conference schedule. Will their scheduling difficulties = a recruiting issue? No big games=no big recruits?

@BFW This a #NotreDame problem. Teams are going to be dropping them. No conference ties. They will only get to play bottom level conference teams from here on out. It’s their reality moving forward with this playoff format.

@ohiotate My idea would be to select the 12 teams, rank them, and then let them select where they want to be positioned in the bracket. 1 & 2 need to be on opposite sides but go in order thru 12. More than likely the top 4 would take the byes but maybe not. Maybe u take a 5 and host ($$).
