As the gitbook-cli is nearing its end(last updated 4 years ago; is filled with security issues) I was looking for alternatives. Narrowed the list down to GitDocs (nodejs) or MkDocs (python).

Can anyone give me a feedback on either, to help choose one.?

@GoogleMyBiz A friend of mine got his business page hacked due to social engineering. Now the hacker has changed the business's phone number and is scamming customers. On contacting support the only solution we got will take at least 10 days. (1/2)
