@cupofcoffeecap Was also hoping for scene of Optimus leading wife into the bedroom while tux-wearing husband slowly lets a bouquet of roses drop to the floor.
@cupofcoffeecap Hope I live long enough to hear Optimus screaming at a Tesla FSD from back seat: “listen you piece of shit, get out of the left lane or I’ll come up front and mess you up”
@Midnight_Captl@nvidia Agree, so instead of blind faith let’s make sure AI wealth actually flows into debt pay down. Treating these as 2 distinct trends won’t lead to anything but more of the same.
@GavinSBaker Trend of closed-loop water and paying for grid upgrades came after the public outcry against some big earlier proj.
After dcs are built, communities will have no cards to play. Opposition now, to get concessions is good strategy snd compromise will ensure win-win structures.
@JensenHuang Pay the communities! Not just handwaving about the grid, but a meaningful slice of revenues.
Despite the wealth inequality of Gilded Age, railroads brought easily perceptible benefits to communities. AI benefits are still very narrow. Just build in a 5% dc community fund.
@ParikPatelCFA Too many Indian-Americans willing to overlook Trump/Vance demonizing other immigrant groups as literal vermin…because they think they can be the “good brown people”.
@brandonjcarl@threepointone Great work. To really showcase the ultra-speed, adding a way to steer it while it’s playing - using same sources but shifting focus - almost like smart speed control.
It could even pop up canned choose-your-own-adventure options at various points.
Is the code avail?
@NickPlaysCrypto Who is “we” -model dev is a global market of talent and capital. Each lab would sell their mothers to get the others’ IP. Let them fight it out.
Google and Mistral did MoE first but Deepseek did a great implementation. And so on.
@GavinSBaker Very easy solution. The poors into whose neighborhoods they are shoved don’t like them. So pay them a nice big slice of the $. With trillion dollar rev & 70% margins in the models up and down the stack, plenty to pay the communities a few $100B a year.
@phl43@SeloSlav In the kind of world where they have dreams and autonomy, society radically changes so much that sounds improbable the owners of a lab would earn anything as most old economic rules, IP law etc would cease to apply.
