Why did they have to kill her?
Laura Flora was just a Form Three girl. A student at Vokoli Girls High School. Asleep in her bedroom in Koromatangi village, Kakamega, when armed robbers scaled the wall and invaded her home.
They hit her on the head. Tied her hands behind her back. Then went to her parents’ room demanding phones and money. Her father gave them everything he had. He pleaded. He begged them to spare his family. He told them he had no cash left.
They still left her dying.
He found her tied up and unresponsive. Carried her to the car. Rushed her to hospital. She was pronounced dead soon after.
They could have taken the phones. They could have taken the money. They could have walked away with whatever they came for. Instead, they ended a child’s life for nothing.
A father will never hold his daughter again. A classroom has an empty desk. A family is shattered forever.
This is not just a robbery. This is pure evil.
We demand justice for Laura Flora.
We demand that the killers are found, charged, and made to face the full weight of the law.
No more silence. No more forgotten victims.
Rest in peace, Laura. You deserved to grow up. You deserved to live.
