Why the DCU kind of feeling doomed rn. I was really ready to jump ship from the MCU to whatever James was gonna cook up since I expected him to do the exact opposite of what I hate from the MCU - but supergirl is just as formulaic and inane as a low tier MCU film sooooo?

New reported details on ‘BLACK PANTHER 3’:

• Ryan Coogler wants to include mutants and supernatural connections to the ancestral plane.

• It will feature a coming-of-age story, with a heavy emphasis on legacy & what it means for T'Challa II to inherit the title of Black Panther.

• There have been talks about making Nakia not want T'Challa II to be the Black Panther and inherit the throne.

Robert Downey Jr. says "Avengers: Doomsday" figured out how to make Marvel movies "not be a letdown" after "Infinity War" and "Endgame."

“We landed in a place that I think will more than suffice. And it’s not even about how I executed it. It’s about the way it’s been structured, and the other characters. There’s something going on in ‘Doomsday’ and forward that is literally the only antidote to: How do you not have these films be let down after an ‘Infinity War’ and an ‘Endgame?’ And boy, have we labored long and hard to bring that down... It’ll be Sink’s character that they’re really after but when Spidey gets in the way he’ll make an enemy out of both Sink and the DoDC.

Makes sense since Holland said this is like a detective story. He will be following all these steps and clues until he realizes or something

Right now I’m guessing the actual main villain of Brand New Day is Damage Control. They wanna defame superheroes, they’re anti mutant and pulling the strings on all these random events Peter finds himself in.
