@CRYPTIDKILL i would not recommend putting them in a dryer like some suggested, that can lead to worse matting and dryer burn, which can change the texture permanently

@MutedNotSuited i havent seen anyone say this and its making me insane. rinse it with white vinegar. vinegar can prevent the growth of mold and mildew and you dont have to take anything apart. and the smell goes away in time too
