@Shannon71858416 It's always heartbreaking to have to let them go. But they let us know when they're ready to go. I lost my Boston exactly a month ago, I know it's hard, but remember all the love, and remember she knows that. Wishing you both peace.
It's day 76 of reminding the @CityofEdmonton that barriers to accessibility for persons with disabilities are not inconveniences. They shouldn't be referred to as such as that minimizes the effect they have and perpetuates the mindset that it's acceptable to exclude people.
This is why we've been asking them to provide proper training on inclusivity and ableism to staff, managers, decision makers and council members. Currently there is no comprehensive, standardized training for city representatives and employees in regards to disabilities and inclusion. This is why the city's disability policy isn't nearly as effective as it should be. That needs to change. So until everyone at the city is trained in Inclusivity, we'll be sending this reminder.

@mo_rescue Oh, so happy to hear you're home! That's the best place to be... Your Pawrents can look after you and help you through your recovery! I'm sure they are very happy to have you home too! Mikey sends his best!
@mo_rescue A paw circle it is, and prayers for you and your pawrents. My doggo had to have both his eyes removed 2yrs ago, it's scary, for everyone, but I am sure your hoomans will take the best care of you. 💕
