“Ghost Of The Monster Kid” is now live! This channel will be a love letter to Monsters and the Horror and Sci-Fi genres, the kind of content that I would want to see as a Monster lover. If you love the horrific as much as I do give it a subscribe! https://t.co/dv4VfTKyHQ
Recent Horror/Gothic/Dark Poetry purchases! From classics by Washington Irving, MR James, Robert Chambers and Charles Baudelaire, to two old school anthologies, to modern authors like @Gabino_Iglesias@vlatinalondon@SGJ72 @SaraTantlinger @misery_williams ! Chills/thrills await!
It’s okay to buy books even if you have thousands you haven’t read.
It’s okay to get your books from the library.
It’s okay to stack books in every room.
It’s okay to have books on you at all times and keep some in your car.
When it comes to books, do whatever makes you happy.
@alisedaandrea I can’t have caffeine as even just a little bit makes my blood pressure skyrocket and I get very sick, so I just stick to teas (preferably iced, haha).
@alisedaandrea Keep on submitting! There isn’t a writer out there who has made it who doesn’t have an entire wall plastered with rejection slips. You got this!
It’s that time of year again, Spooky Season!!! This is my official 2022 thread of all of the morbidly macabre and terrifically terrifying decorations I come across. This is from one of the first Spirit stores to pop up in SD this year. (Pt. 1)
@alisedaandrea Oooh you’d make an amazing spooky picture book! Perhaps one including Mexican folklore, maybe a certain weeping woman or a boogeyman could make an appearance…
Been AWOL from social media for the past couple months (was getting too overwhelming for my mental health). Going to try and get back on again, see how it goes.
Spent about five hours at the MET the other day, and my god it has to be one of my favorite museums I have ever been to. It rivals The Louvre (my other favorite) in sheer scope, beauty and artistic depth.
So far highlight of my trip to NYC has been the NYC Public Library! The architecture and furnishings are magnificent and grandiose, the Treasures exhibit is full of interesting little literary and cultural items on display. I absolutely love it!
Thinking of re-updating my old horror poetry chapbook, with about 10-15 extra poems added to it. It will be self published again, though not sure yet if I want to keep it printed/DIY/side stapled or get it made with professional printing and binding…
It’s been a long while since I’ve written anything, mostly due to anxiety and other issues, and last evening while taking a walk this image popped into my head, and I just had to write it out. #horrorpoetry#horror#poetry#horrorwriter
