Turned the big 31 two days ago, spent the day eating tacos and bookstore hopping. Pretty fine way to spend a birthday, if I do say so myself.

Spent about five hours at the MET the other day, and my god it has to be one of my favorite museums I have ever been to. It rivals The Louvre (my other favorite) in sheer scope, beauty and artistic depth.

So far highlight of my trip to NYC has been the NYC Public Library! The architecture and furnishings are magnificent and grandiose, the Treasures exhibit is full of interesting little literary and cultural items on display. I absolutely love it!
