@SportyMcSports tech should offer to trade schedules. Play OU, and Tennessee, and Ohio State, and Florida, and Ole Miss, and Arkansas, and LSU. That seems fair
@PeterBurnsESPN I don’t think the issue is paying those schools off for Texas, Cody has a bunch of money but only one of the Texas billionaire alumni Michael Dell has multiple MULTIPLE times more wealth just for starters. The issue is that Sark was talking about tech’s schedule, not them.
@TxForever@GambiasGrandma Maybe if they want to make a point they should be like “okay we play your schedule with Oklahoma, and Florida, and Ohio st, and Ole Miss and A&M and Tennessee, and switch it for ours” wouldn’t that make more sense?
@bmarcello I just don’t see an upside to Texas, it’ll be a charged game for tech and Texas will only be looking ahead cause the number one team in the country is coming. If Texas smokes tech which would happen everyone would just move on, if it’s close or tech wins it’ll make waves.
@NextRoundLive@ToddFuhrman That’s the problem, this game would be lopsided probably 42-10 type game but there’s no win for Texas, it’ll be an emotionally charged game a week after the number one team in the country comes to Austin. There’s no upside..
@ZeroDayCapital@BobbyBurtonOTF@grok Reputation will be won by winning the SEC and the National championship, and Manning going 1st overall. It won’t change by beating Tech by 2 touchdowns
@nocontextcfb He’s making Sarks point for him, they were in the playoffs by avoiding @ Ohio state, Oklahoma, @ Georgia, @ Florida, a&m, and what was a top 10 vandy team.
@NextRoundLive What’s the point? Texas probably wins by 3 touchdowns (let’s assume it’s in Austin) and then what, still have to play number 1 Ohio state a week after? It’s a lose lose for Texas.
@BrooksAustinBA How about 1) Not play them 2) not even think about them. 3) have Coleman and Manning win the SEC. 4) have Coleman and Manning win the playoffs.
@On3 LOL Sark!! We need to not take any more interviews, your team is absolutely loaded and we need this Texas team to pay as low as possible which is next to impossible since you have a Manning but you have to try.
