Crimson Desert has a new mod that changes how the world looks throughout the year.
The “Seasons of Pywel” mod adds a four-season system, with spring, summer, autumn, and winter altering the environment as you play.
Spring restores green vegetation, autumn covers the world in orange and gold, and winter brings snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. Snow can build up over time, so winter feels like more than a visual change.
You can control each season’s length, lock the game to one season, change the weather, and adjust snow levels.
Meet Niki Parmar, who completed her https://t.co/YSvOF5eZrP CSE from PICT. No IIT, no NIT, no top university, No PhD.
Do you know this Indian woman who helped build the technology behind ChatGPT, Claude, and even Gemini?
And if she hadn't been there, maybe we would never have had AI in our lives.
She was the only woman without a PhD on an eight-member Google Brain team that wrote one of the most influential research papers in history: "Attention Is All You Need."
After graduation, she moved to the United States and completed her master's at the University of Southern California. She then interned at Amazon and worked at PubMatic.
Later, she joined Google's elite AI research team and left her research journey to apply her knowledge to real-world products. She then co-founded Essential AI ($56.5M raised) and is now a Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic.
No limitations. Only the sky is the limit!

Fable’s new combat isn’t trying to turn the game into Dark Souls. The developers say the original games were known for “quite approachable” combat and wanted to keep that feel.
Associate director Will Kennedy said, “That’s something we kept in mind while developing our combat system.”
You can aim at different body parts, and attacks can change enemy behavior. Hit an undead enemy in the leg and it may crawl toward you. Cut off its head and “they don’t know where to go.”
Fable still has its usual weirdness. Turning a Hollow into a chicken creates “undead chickens,” while hitting a normal chicken with Fireball turns it into a “roast chicken.”
Update: I Deleted my post on Capcom, as IGN mistranslated the original source (trash site)
it's not AI-generation game engine, it's game engine for the AI era. No GenAI involved.
A fan is rebuilding P.T. as a native Windows PC port, reportedly around 97% complete.
The developer is reverse-engineering the PS4 executable and rebuilding the game's logic and rendering in C++ and Vulkan, using original game data from the user's own copy.
The port already supports:
- The full game from the opening screen through the ending
- Original Lua scripts, traps, cutscenes, and Lisa's animations
- Rebuilt Fox Engine rendering, including shadows, reflections, motion blur, bloom, and volumetric fog
- Original Wwise audio, radio broadcasts, and controller vibration
- 60+ FPS instead of the PS4 version's 30 FPS lock
- Any resolution, plus mouse and keyboard
- DualSense, Xbox, and other controllers
- Optional AMD FSR 3.1
The developer is also comparing the PC port against the original PS4 version frame-by-frame to get as close to 1:1 as possible.
Andrej Karpathy predicted the future of AI once again:
“Everyone’s renting frontier models for jobs a 3B model could do. Small models are the future.”
this 18-page PDF breaks down Karpathy’s case for working with small LLMs.
the real question isn’t “Is the small model as good?” It’s “Which of my 1,000 calls ever needed a frontier model?”
And @thewebai just answered it for formal logic.
TwIL-LM3-Pro:
→ 3.6B params, on par with Qwen3-8B on formal logic
→ leads VibeThinker-3B on all 6 formal-logic tasks tested
→ 95.4% on BBH logic, 95% on SVAMP
→ 2.09 GiB in Q4, runs on CPU or 4GB VRAM
→ no API bill, no data leaving your machine
The secret isn't size. It's post-training.

Timeline is getting crazy. enjoy the pre-ASI era..
AI is starting to unlock centuries of forgotten knowledge.
It just cracked a 217-year-old cipher.
From a single historical scan, GPT-6 Astra reportedly completed the entire cipher-solving workflow in just ~6 hours of model work.
> Transcribed ~1,300 handwritten cipher units
> Reconstructed 155 distinct symbols
> Combined a partial historical key with its own cryptanalysis
> Built and ran a simulated-annealing solver
> Identified 29 whole-word symbols
> Cross-checked the decoded text against the original image
> Reconstructed the historical context and corrected the date from 1807 to March 1809
The decoded document is a military briefing sent to General Auguste de Marmont shortly before Austria invaded in April 1809.
It reports troop positions and movements and helps recover a passage missing from Napoleon's later published correspondence.
Enjoy the beginning of AI breaking mysteries.
