@GovTinaKotek In the 4 year window, 40,300 students graduated on time. 8,300 did not graduate on time.
The referenced pre-pandemic levels were for 2018-2019 only—that’s not historic.
But yes, you should keep going…out of office, out of the mansion and out of our state.
@ChristineDrazan I have zero use for Kotek but she has publicly opposed IP28, calling it “the wrong direction” for Oregon because it would criminalize standard agricultural practices, hunting, & fishing. Focus on the core issues because this one isn’t going anywhere.

@SusanGriffin530 Yep, the highlights…
May 2011: Hands Across Hawthorne
Oct 2011: Occupy Portland
Nov 2016: Anti-Trump riots
Jan 2017: Women’s March PDX
2017-19: Patriot Prayer events
Mar 2018: March 4 Our Lives
2009-12: Sam Adams, Mayor
2013-16: Charlie Hales, Mayor
2017: Ted Wheeler, Mayor
@SusanGriffin530 Ms. Thang isn't wrong re: PDX going downhill prior to 2020. It started sliding hard when Sam Adams was mayor (2009). The 2011 Occupy crew made an extended mess in the core as well. It's continued sliding since. Candace & her pals won't blame any of that for ideological reasons.

@Red3Cyber This was a federal criminal case prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon (part of the DOJ) in U.S. District Court.
@IdExploring It was a federal criminal case prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon in U.S. District Court. Hartley was indicted by a federal grand jury in Portland. State had no jurisdiction.
@sullsquared2799@ThrillaRilla369 Haven't eaten red meat or cow dairy in 1.5 years due to IBS. Lots of tasty alternatives (no, not fake meat). It's worth not living in pain.
@NotTinaKotex Kotek is awful but I don't think even she would approve it in consideration of the immense impact it would have on the state. Coastal communities alone could be decimated. The people pushing it don't believe it will pass, they said they're looking to change minds on veganism.
@braedalibby Those who solicit signatures don’t explain in full what the petition would do if it came to pass. They ask if the signer loves animals & doesn’t want them harmed. That’s how they get the signatures.
@XRPBULL3@KATUNews Nearly 85% to 90% of the food bought in Oregon grocery stores & restaurants is imported from other states (California) or countries (Mexico, Vietnam).
Oregon farmers produce a massive amount of food, but they export ~80% of their agricultural output out of state or overseas.
