We invited Queens High School to an outreach at the Marlie Mount Primary School!
The students were all dressed up for their career day
We introduced them to #STEM and careers available in those areas.

6. In 1993, Guion Bluford Jr. worked in the NYMA Inc. engineering services division in Maryland. Bluford has since served in leadership roles for other corporations. 

7. Guion Bluford Jr. has received over 30 awards and honours.

1. Guion Bluford Jr. was a decorated Air Force pilot and flew 144 combat missions during the Vietnam War- after completing his training at Williams Air Force Base.

4. In 1997, he was inducted into the International Space Hall of Fame and in 2010, the United States Astronaut Hall of Fame.

5. Bluford received a master's degree and a PhD in aerospace engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology where he enrolled after the war.
