Interesting news dropped right after Christmas, and I think it deserves a bit more attention!

YugaLabs just bought the core tech that powers @OthersideMeta from @Improbableio and brought the whole thing in-house, together with the team that’s been working on it for years.

Nothing crazy to break down here.
Just a simple thought.

When you fully own the tech and the people behind it, things move differently.

Updates come faster. Less friction. More freedom to experiment and build without waiting on anyone else.

And for Otherside, that’s huge.

More updates.
More systems.
More quests.
More depth over time.

You can already see where their attention is right now. Otherside clearly feels like the main priority for Yuga at this stage.

Also worth mentioning, there are already talks about a pretty big update coming in January. No details yet, but paired with this move, it makes a lot of sense.

Overall, this just feels like a team clearing the road ahead and doubling down on building.
