Sassy girl is sassy.
What is missed in this picture is the rock she's holding behind her back that I was unaware of until it came flying at me right after this shot! https://t.co/dpPEhef0vy
I often turn to the words of Martin Luther King Jr. for inspiration. Today I’m keeping these words in mind: “The time is always right to do what is right.”
It's sobering that the Joint Chiefs feel compelled to issue a statement like this. And it's right b/c they are risking their lives to protect what self-professed "patriots" trampled last week. I hope a statement like this rings loudly in the country's ears.
Southern Baptist leader @drmoore, regarding some Christians' tolerance of President Trump, asks:
"If you can defend this, you can defend anything. If you can wave this away with 'well, what about…' then where, at long last, is your limit?"
Good question.
I lived through the civil war in Lebanon. The system was stressed to its breaking point and it shattered.
Our system in America is being severely stressed. I pray we do not break.
Preached on 5 dangers to our Baptism today.
1. Conflating party/personality with Christ.
2. Conspiracy theories
3. Charismatic prophesies
4. Cable News discipleship
5. Corrosive Racism

What really saddens me is we are a few weeks our from celebrating the incarnation of truth. Yet some people of God are effectively denying the incarnation by holding fast to lies. We have a new "hidden knowledge" that tempts followers of The Way. John's epistles prove relevant.
Today, my heart and mind are with those we lost in the Tucson shooting:
Christina-Taylor Green
Gabe Zimmerman
Judge John Roll
Phyllis Schneck
Dorwan Stoddard
Dorothy Morris
Their memories are a blessing that keeps me going, even when times are tough.
Ten years ago, my life and my community changed forever. I was shot in the head, six people were killed, 12 others injured. But the attack did not break me—or the people I represented in Congress. We came together, turned pain into purpose, and found hope in each other.
People keep saying removing Trump in his last two weeks is petty. When Michael G Scott put in his 2 weeks notice then fomented an insurrection starting a new paper company Charles Minor had him forcefully removed. How is it a fictitious paper company had higher standards?
