@no_one_in_space @DannyDrinksWine I think for me, the movie looks and feels a bit like a Jean-Pierre Jeunet/Marc Caro movie, but like cranked up to 11. The music is so insanely catchy and there’s just an energy and vibrance to it that I’ve never seen in anything else. Marko and Blacky are just a perfect duo.

@realMattKParker Crying of Lot 49 is great low-stakes way to get into Pynchon. You could read it in an afternoon, and it’s just the right amount of weirdness.

@mchierici_ @donnyjkimball I did the hike mid-February last year—weather was great for me! There was quite a bit of snow in Hida Village, but the Nakasendo was pretty clear when I went.

Just bring some good shoes, it’s definitely a bit steep in places, especially if you go Tsumago to Magome.
