Update on the Postponement of “Love Rush A to Z” and the Stars Display Issue
Dear BanG Dreamers,
Regarding the Stars display issue recently experienced by some players, our Global and Japanese teams are currently working together to investigate the issue and implement a fix.
Due to this issue, the number of Stars owned may not always be displayed correctly. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern this has caused.
Through our continued investigation, we have confirmed that the issue affects multiple in-game situations and is relatively complex. As a result, a complete fix will require some additional time.
As “Love Rush A to Z” will be the first event since the official launch, we want to ensure that the relevant issues are properly addressed before beginning our first event.
We have therefore adjusted the upcoming event schedule. Please see below for our current progress and next steps.
■ Fix Plan for the Stars Display Issue
Our Global and Japanese teams are continuing to jointly investigate and address this issue.
To resolve the issue, the version update is currently being prepared for the Japanese version. In addition to further fixes for the STASRs display issue, Japanese teams also plan to add a feature that will allow players to review their Stars acquisition and consumption history.
As the Global version requires additional development and implementation based on the Japanese version, fixes will be introduced in stages.
【Phase 1: Temporary Fix】
A hotfix is scheduled for the Global version tomorrow as a temporary measure to address the current STARS display issue.
Once the update is complete, your STARS Amount will automatically refresh to the correct current amount whenever you return to the main game screen. This is intended to minimize situations in which an incorrect STARS Amount remains displayed.
As this is a temporary measure, in some situations, your STARS Amount may appear to change when the amount is refreshed. We will continue monitoring the situation after the update is implemented.
【Phase 2: Future Version Update】
A version update for the Global version is scheduled for October 2.
This update will incorporate relevant fixes from subsequent Japanese version updates to further improve the current STARS display issue.
We will continue monitoring the issue and make further improvements and fixes based on the actual situation. We will provide timely updates as further progress is made.
■ Postponement of “Love Rush A to Z” and Related Gachas
Since the STARS display issue is still being addressed.
As the first event and its related Gachas will involve the use of STARS, we believe that holding the event while concerns remain regarding STARS Amount would make it difficult to provide everyone with the event experience we intended..
To allow everyone to enjoy our first event in a more stable and reliable environment, “Love Rush A to Z” and its related Gachas, originally scheduled to begin on September 28 for both the Japanese and Global versions, will be postponed.
The new event start time will be announced once confirmed.
In the meantime, the following Launch Celebration Gachas will once again be extended until October 8 at 23:59 (UTC+9):
・MyGO!!!!! Launch Celebration Gacha
・Ave Mujica Launch Celebration Gacha
To help players unlock Band Stories and more while waiting for the event to begin, we will distribute 【BOOST DRINK ×5】 to all players.
※The “Launch Celebration! 5-Day Consecutive Song Addition Campaign” will proceed according to the original schedule.
■ Upcoming Version Update Schedule
The Japanese version will receive the version update addressing the above issue first, while the corresponding update for the Global version is scheduled to be completed on October 2.
As a result, there may temporarily be differences in how certain features are displayed between the Japanese and Global versions during this period.
These differences mainly involve the previously introduced display features related to character birthdays and “Change Outfit.”
These are only temporary differences caused by the different version update schedules and will not affect the future character birthday events.
Once the Global version update is completed on October 2, the relevant version content will be aligned with the Japanese version, and subsequent character birthday events will be held simultaneously as scheduled.
■ Compensation
Since the official launch of BanG Dream! Our Notes, a series of issues, including the STAR display issue and network connection issues, have affected normal gameplay.
With the postponement of our first event and its related Gachas, BanG Dreamers who have been looking forward to the event will now also have to wait longer.
We once again sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused by these recent issues.
After the current issue has been resolved, we will distribute the following to all players:
【STAR ×2000】
This compensation will be distributed as an apology for the series of issues that have occurred since the official launch, as well as the postponement of this event. The distribution date and time will be announced separately.
We understand that, rather than simply explaining the cause of the issue, it is even more important to ensure that everyone can clearly verify their Stars balance and participate in future events with confidence.
We will therefore continue to prioritize resolving these issues. Once the version update schedule and the new event start date and time have been confirmed, we will provide an update through an official notice as soon as possible.
Once again, thank you to all BanG Dreamers for your understanding and patience.
Thank you for your continued support of BanG Dream! Our Notes.
