@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx human nature, is only altered by human’s environment. in a capitalist environment, humans must behave selfishly to survive. humans cooperated together selflessly for majority of their existence. And the proletariat achieves unity, through the shared experience of exploitation.
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx no point in continuing this if you’re just going to deflect arguments again, proving you don’t understand the basic concept of communism
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx not gonna keep repeating it, I’m going to say it one last time. I think Mao succeeded in the longrun with his methods. He should’ve took a better approach that prevented 11 million ppl to die. Each point I presented was simply in defense of why he decided to make those decisions.
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx you back tracked on your own statements by turning a individual criticism of Mao, into a critique of communist ideology as a whole. it’s obvious neither of our views are changing with this argument so it’s kinda pointless to keep repeating the same things in an echo chamber.
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx you can’t achieve communism as a single nation, you need society as a collective to be socialist, then you can work to become a higher (communist) society. So for a socialist country to survive in a capitalist dominated world, it uses the dictatorship of the proletariat.
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx funny how we can critique my argument by using logical fallacies, but it’s okay for you to deflect by saying my argument is invalid due to “memes” and “tiktoker in car”
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx All I’ve been doing is criticizing him dumbass, idc what’s “inexcusable” to you, because you want to use his individual mistakes as a way to critique an entire economic ideology as a whole.
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx the appeal of communism is to be a better society than capitalism. in which with a collective socialist society, can then grow into a communist society. U can criticize the ways ppl have tried to enforce Marxist ideals to try to achieve that, but that isn’t was communism is.
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx Mao’s China was only communist in name, same with every other communist state. Because that phrase is inherently contradictory. They are all socialist countries, with some being dictatorships of the proletariat. “Communist society is a stateless-classless-moneyless society.”
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx you don’t understand communism, because it isn’t a econ theory in which a single country individually establishes a govt controlled economy. it relies on the fact that society as a whole is controlled by dictatorships of the proletariat. Then it develops into a communist society.
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx idk why neo-liberals think that the main doctrine of communism, is “to each….” you’re simplifying a highly complex economic ideology in a vague definition.
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx you keep trying to misrepresent my argument by saying that it was either kill millions in famine or never industrialize. I never said that😭😭
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx and also where in Marxist ideology does it say to rapidly industrialize your country you have to cause mass famines? mao adapted Marxist theory to fit his situation, and it wasn’t the theory that caused it, it was government negligence and errors.
@lmfjcs@yojimbo41@levantinemarx if those wasps continuously killed millions upon millions of people for thousands of years, and you sacrificed a part of the house, so you could rebuild it into an stronger and safe house that would prevent those wasps from ever building a nest again. sounds pretty based😭😭
