Expansion and Contraction of Time
Time, as we perceive it, is not merely an objective measurement dependent on the ticking of a clock. It is deeply influenced by our experiences, emotions, and memories, leading us to feel time differently. Sometimes, a moment may stretch into what feels like eternity, while at other times, hours may pass in the blink of an eye. The exhibition "Expansion and Contraction of Time" delves into this relativity of time, exploring how this concept can be expressed through various artistic mediums.
"Expansion and Contraction of Time" focuses on the subjective experience of time, distinct from the physical passage of time. The expansion of time refers to the phenomenon where a particular moment feels prolonged, while contraction refers to the experience of a long period feeling brief. This exhibition seeks to explore how the subjective experience of time can be expressed through art. Each artwork embodies a unique sense of time, offering viewers the opportunity to experience different flows of time.
The exhibition features a diverse array of artists from both domestic and international backgrounds, each interpreting the theme of time in their own way. The aim of the exhibition is to offer viewers a new perspective on time, prompting them to reconsider time within the framework of subjective experience and perception. Through this, we hope to deepen our understanding of the present and enrich our experience of life's moments.

Between Time and Time
Art is a window into human life and culture, and it is one of the fields most sensitive to changes in the times. Technological advancements have transformed the forms and content of art, altering our understanding and expression of time. The exhibition ‘Between Times’ aims to explore the relationship between art and time and to examine how technology defines the temporality of art. The 12 artists participating in this exhibition express contemporary digital sensibilities through traditional techniques or reinterpret the aesthetics of the past using cutting-edge technology. Their works offer a unique and profound aesthetic experience, where cultural sentiments condensed from various contexts are fused with modern technology. We hope this exhibition provides an opportunity to appreciate the intricate relationship between art, time, and technology.
