My little children,
your hearts are small,
but prayer stretches them
and makes them
capable of loving God.
Through prayer we receive
a foretaste of heaven
and something of paradise
comes down upon us.
-St John Vianney
Dear young people, Jesus is our hope. Aspire to great things, to holiness, wherever you are. Do not settle for less. You will then see the light of the Gospel growing every day, in you and around you.
“God says to each one of us today: ‘I have chosen your soul, I have chosen your heart as sacred ground, to be adored there.’ Your baptized soul is a sacred place—do not profane it by giving it over to disordered passions and to the spirit of the world; do not profane it by stealing from God the first place. If the church of your soul lies in ruins, then listen to God’s call. It is time to rebuild it—and to rebuild it upon the rock, the solid foundation upon which we must build our life and our hope.
Yes, it is time to rebuild the church of your soul. It is time for you to go to confession: confess the sins you have committed in word or in deed, by night or by day; confess now, in this favorable time, and on the day of salvation receive the heavenly treasure. ‘Above all, watch over your soul,’ says Saint Cyril of Jerusalem. It is time to care for it—by setting aside each day a real time of deep and silent prayer. It is time to cast out the idols of money, of screens, of easy and vulgar seduction. God wants your heart. God wants your soul, just as He wanted this land of Brittany.”

Newlyweds Cole and Anna Stevens received Pope Leo’s personal blessing for their marriage during one of the pope’s first general audiences under the hot Roman summer sun on June 11, just four days after their wedding at the Cathedral of St. Paul in Birmingham, Alabama.
The moment, captured on video, became an unexpectedly intimate exchange with the American pope, who responded warmly to their question of how best to pray together as a married couple.
Here's what the American pope told them:
Pope Leo XIV recently offered marriage advice to a young American couple days after their wedding, sharing how he was blessed by the example of his own parents who prayed the rosary together every day. https://t.co/0NbB7lbt20

As I visited the cell of Saint Maximillian Kolbe today at Auschwitz I was reminded of this: No matter where you are that is your mission field.
Saint Maximilian Kolbe, Pray for us!
When you see the WHITE SMOKE....
..don't think of power, don't rush to give your opinion.
Instead kneel and pray...
..because the one who will come out from the central Balcony of St. Peter's will not receive a title ...but a cross.
Not a winner but a sacrificial lamb.
When you see the WHITE SMOKE, the new Pope will probably be at the "chapel of tears " beside the sistine chapel-crying- asking God "why him." He will provide God with a list of his weaknesses but God will have mercy.
That man will die in the office.
He will carry the full burden of the office. He will work until he is too old and too frail.
He will not have retirement. He will die and his death is part of the job.
He will need our prayers more than ever.
When you see the WHITE SMOKE, pray for that brother.
Toby Keith was his own man. He set a great example for all of us in life and in death. He had one shot at this just like we all do and he did it his way. I paid attention to his life and his career. He had a swagger that was a little different than most because he knew who he was. In life we have a chance to leave a mark that will not fade and he knocked it out of the park. In death we have a chance to exit this awful, beautiful life with grace and dignity. Toby just hit another grand slam and we could learn from this example. Sometimes it’s not about the elaborate production because sometimes the production is simply the actions of the man. God bless you and your family and thank you for showing us all how it’s done.

Lord, fulfil your promise! Where there is conflict, give birth to peace! Where there is hatred, make love spring up! Where darkness prevails, let light shine! Make us heralds of your peace! Amen.
If you go to grew up going to church, you know this song. If that isn’t your thing or your tradition, no worries, you can still bask in this (literally) timeless melody. Pro tip: I was feeling it on this pass and decided to just roll on into singing, so keep watching if you want.
