BREAKING: Ke Huy Quan just won an #Oscar at the Academy Awards for best supporting actor for his role in 'Everything Everywhere All at Once'
"Mom, I just won an Oscar!!"
For those unaware Ke Huy Quan spent a year with his family in a Hong Kong refugee camp before arriving in the United States of America in 1979.
What an incredible comeback and incredible story.
My heart continues to be shattered for my home state of Texas.
I cannot fathom the pain being felt right now in El Paso. I send my deepest condolences to the families, both born and chosen, of those who lost their lives.
We must continue fighting for the soul of this state.
Imagine that one of these beautiful children - all shot to death last night at Michigan State University - belonged to you.
As long as there are guns everywhere, our children aren’t safe anywhere.
Don’t sit on the sidelines. We need every voice and vote. Text ACT to 644-33
Today we lost a San Antonio legend, Jesse Treviño, an artist that helped shape this city with his beautiful arte. This Chicano put San Anto’s West Side on the map nationally and did it with grace. His legacy will live on forever. descanse en paz, Jesse❤️
I can’t put into words what this means to me. For the @RecordingAcad and my peers to acknowledge me as a director, and in doing so, acknowledge my work to try and reclaim my music… I’m blown away. Thank you to all the fans who willed this to happen.
February will be filled with good news.
