Are we absolutely sure about that? I have done vendor selecting for projects, even for storage solutions, for massive companies. I tend to champion smart and innovative solutions. But this has my attention. Enterprise people are around, and sometimes we tend to lurk. Im only speaking up because I think Iagon is a great solution and I dont want it to be hurt. More and more institutions are getting into the crypto space, learning projects, talking to teams. Image matters to some of these companies.
My point of view is from someone who is not in the trenches, someone who sees a project that is worth backing, but then sees all the fighting and attacks. That doesnt help that person get involved or back a project, or buy a product. The tone and style of attacks (warranted or not, im not arguing that) are a put off. Ive seen posts that have been well written and conversational without the tone of disdain and hatred but there has been a massive change (to me, some of the tone has felt like this lately). I wouldn't call myself an average person when it comes to crypto but im also not in the weeds either. Im worried that to the average person who doesnt know who Developers are or the basic issues that are being argued, this hurts the brand as they dont want a part of it. If I talk to someone about this project and then they see all this, theyre going to stay away. And that hurts the project and brand (which i do think is a great project/product). This is the point im making. I want to see success and less bickering. Do it in DMs. Cardano can sometimes be its own worst enemy and it kills me every time to see us fighting each other over things that normal people don't understand or care about and then things turn nasty and its just the wrong forum or way to go about it.
@NaVi_GaT0R Calling out everything gives off an air of arrogance that exudes a holier than thou persona and that helps no one. We need to get back to conversations woth grace, humility, and civility. This statement doesnt pick a side. Its a reminder of what I once saw from a good man.
Its not just this. I hardly post on things but I read. And its become vile. Regardless of who is right, theres a line. Maintaining tact and bearing matters. You cannot spend every moment going after so many small things. You will drive yourself mad and lose the ability to compose yourself with grace and humility. At some point, let it go.
@NaVi_GaT0R@jasonappleton@phil_uplc This has become petty, and I've seen you respond with much better grace to things than this. But lately its like I hardly recognize who you've become. Being so easily triggered by the slightest thing is
@NaVi_GaT0R@jasonappleton@phil_uplc This has to stop. This is like a crusade at this point, and youre laying waste to everything in your path regardless if there's truth. This is highly damaging to your project!
@jasonappleton Its true. Everyone has an agenda. At all times. Align yourself with those closest to what you want, or become a Drep yourself. I think @jasonappleton is pretty honest and transparent and thats why I chose him as my Drep. I know he cares about Cardano.
