Manager Jacob (homosexual) was sent home after clocking in on time for his 8am shift today. Our employees rely on Jacob being at least 2 hours late every morning, and his punctuality threw off the natural rhythm of the store.

Employees had already begun complaining and mentally preparing themselves to cover his shift when Jacob appeared at 7:55am, causing Cashier Belinda to become visibly ill.

We later realized Jacob was actually 23 hours and 55 minutes late for yesterdays shift instead and allowed him to return to work.

Full rundown of the Jalen Hurts blood clot situation (as of right now):

🏈Oct 4 > Hurts got cleated in the calf in the Rams game

🏈Oct 7-9 > Hurts practiced in full all week & only asked for treatment on his calf after Thursday's practice

🏈Oct 10 > After the flight to England for a game in London, an ultrasound found a superficial blood clot in his calf
-Doctors said he could play

🏈Oct 10-11 > Hurts was in a London hospital until 4am the morning of the game, then stayed awake until kickoff because doctors told him sleeping was a risk with the clot... so he stayed awake for about 36 HOURS

🏈Oct 11 > He started vs the Jaguars in London with 0 sleep & played the whole game
-He didn't come out onto the field until right before kickoff & rode a stationary bike on the sideline between drives, both because of the calf
-He put up 220 yds & a TD in a loss on a 57-yd FG

🏈Oct 14 > A follow-up ultrasound showed the clot had moved, but the Eagles didn't say where

🏈Oct 15 > The Eagles ruled him out vs the Panthers

🏈Oct 17 > The Eagles put him on IR

🏈Oct 18 > Tanner McKee started in his place in a 25-14 loss to the Panthers
-New imaging over the weekend found several blood clots in his lungs

🏈Oct 19 (today) > The Eagles announced Hurts has deep vein thrombosis & blood clots in BOTH LUNGS
-He was ruled out for the season & can't play while on blood thinners (around 3 months)

🏈Oct 19 > Doctors said it's fixable: the clot was "provoked" by the cleat, no long-term effects are expected & he should be able to keep playing (vid in replies)
