Yomiuri scored runs early to win 7-3 against Softbank. Nishidate, getting his first start of the season, stayed in the game for 7 innings. Timely hits from Sakamoto, Wakabayashi, and Kishida (4-5 with 3 RBI). Yoshikawa kept the score down as well with spectacular defense.

Giants lost 5-2 to Softbank. The team needed to use 6 relief pitchers after Inoue was ejected for throwing a dangerous pitch. The score was tied 2-2 for a few innings before Eito Tanaka gave up 3 runs in the eighth.

Giants win 5-0 over Rakuten. Lots of good defensive plays from both teams. The score remained 1-0 until a Kishida grand slam in the 8th inning. Togo pitched 7 scoreless innings, giving up 3 hits and 3 walks.

Giants pick up their first interleague win today. 2-0 over Rakuten. Foster Griffin pitched 6 scoreless innings. Riku and Maru hit back to back home runs in the 6th.
