I had a therapist say “If past relationships/friendships were toxic, unstable, or conditional, your brain may have learned that love & respect is something you have to fight for. Healthy love is not about chasing, fixing, or proving yourself.”
my therapist said “people who struggle with anxiety & depression can't remember a lot, bc they're too busy focusing on how to get through each moment so they don t actually experience what is happening to them, causing them to not form the memory they were supposed to” felt that.
I have a hot take on this but idc about being crucified so i’ll just say it. Modifying your whole entire wardrobe, making content centered around “modesty” with a man/men in mind as the motive is still just as male centered as being half naked for male attention.
Breakups are ok. Losing friends is ok. Moving on is ok. Healing is ok. Saying no is ok. Being alone is ok. What is NOT ok is staying somewhere where u don't feel happy, valued, loved or appreciated.
