Let's check in on Newport Beach, California and see how they celebrated Independence Day there.

Exactly as expected. Lots of crime, rioting, looting, and destruction.

After two separate "teen takeovers" near the boardwalk/beach, the crowd moved inland and looted the local grocery store for no apparent reason.

The crowd also stole fireworks from local vendors and shot them at each other and responding police officers.

Police haven't released the total number of people arrested, but officials said it's over 100 at minimum.
