If private information, i.e. the "evidence", is handed on a plate, the "exposé" is not clever. It's cheap journalism & a betrayal.

@SkyNews Why was Boris Johnson’s Ukraine trip taxpayer funded? Was this an official trip on behalf of UK Gov or was it at BJ’s request ... electioneering? Presume the security will have cost us rather a lot.
If Johnson is an official adviser on Ukraine affairs why haven’t we been told?

@CarolineLucas Rishi needs to be in London NOW. Past PMs have been too ready to travel anywhere & everywhere for photos rather than hard grafting at No 10. BJ was always missing in action; LT was missing in action. Rishi's Country needs him here! Brilliant though if King Charles could attend.

@Argellian1 @RishiSunak At the GE constituency voters choose their MP.That decides which Party will govern & the Leader automatically is Prime Minister.Constitutionally the Party in power can change its leader/PM as often as it wants, without having a GE.
In the UK we vote for Party not for President.

This isn't the first time a Prime Minister has resigned or left office & been replaced without a GE. The (unwritten) Constitution might have it's faults but this is how it is.

Remember Boris Johnson's disloyalty to David Cameron. Members accepted the huge division HE caused then? Why? What's different?

@Argellian1 @RishiSunak That sounds like a coded way of saying many party members didn’t choose Liz Truss because she was the better politician with better policies, they chose her because she wasn’t Richi Sunak. In other words their choice was influenced by their racist bigotry!
