A total of 15,000 Merchant Seafarers lost the Live during the WW1,
during the WW2, 30,248 Merchant Seafarers Lost their life at sea.
The Red Ensign or the Red Duster as it is affectionately known has
been the recognized flag of the British Merchant Navy since 1854.
