@LouStagner@4golfonline Obviously because hitting the ball too far is not an issue for amateurs and 99.99% of golf courses don’t host a pro tournament. So, this statistic seems like a bit of a red herring in ball rollback debate.
@LouStagner I think you understand the point I am making. If the current progress in equipment, fitness, etc continues at even a slower rate, realistic to see distances increase by 10% or more in not too distant future. Your thesis rests on things plateauing which seems more wishful
@JonathanYarwood I agree with the general sentiment, but let’s not get carried away 😊 I present to you the counterpoint: Sergio Garcia. Li seems like he is wired the right way, fully aware of what a privileged position he is in to play the game at the highest levels in the most hallowed venues
@ryanmouquegolf@ryan Let me know when you’re in SF area next, would love to host you for a round at Olympic paired with a couple of burger dogs, which stand in a class of its own.
Old definition of success: start a company that becomes a verb.
New definition of success: buy said company, replace the verb with a variable, surround yourself with people who tell you what a genius you are
@JonathanYarwood Hi Jonathan, I sent you a message through your website about lessons! Pls let me know how I can reach you. You can DM me or reply to my email!
@D7_Reed@D7_Reed I hardly ever comment on tweets, but feel compelled to say you are an incredible player and it is a privilege for me to watch you play. Keep doing what you’re doing, and the world will have no choice but see what we know about your game, character and leadership 🙌
@BigTicket73 Rooting for you, man! I never tweet, but had to tell ya this so you know how much I am pulling for you and sending positive vibes. Adversity is going to make you stronger, no point questioning why, just focus every ounce of energy on overcoming it for your baby and your family!!
@GCTigerTracker I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see you back here. What makes you you is the authentic passion you bring to what you do. This is not a job for you, it is a calling. And if the leaders at @GolfChannel can’t appreciate the value of that, they don’t deserve to be leaders.
