@BenjaminJS Same boat. They almost didn't give us a hotel. When they did, it was only for one night, not the entirety of delay (from Christmas Eve through 12/28). & wouldn't give food vouchers. Now my next flight is canceled, too, & I'm here longer. Stuck away from my home. With nothing.

@colvinkirk @jemelehill The weather trigger cancellations. I don't deny that. I'm saying that the weather isn't why the rate of cancellations is 70%. If it was, other airlines will have similar cancellation rates. They have an outdated system, and it broke because of this. They are at fault, too.

@colvinkirk @jemelehill I expect things to go wrong. I don't expect to be stuck in a different city for more than a week due to multiple separate cancellations by Southwest. Their staff already said the 70% cancellation rate is due to their scheduling system going belly up, not because of the storm.

@colvinkirk @jemelehill But also, mocking people who needed to travel during the holidays because they expected flights to be functional? Bullshit. Also, some of us were traveling for two weeks (or more). When J started my trip, I didn't even know about the storm.

First, @SouthwestAir cancels my 12/24 flight, barely covers 1 hotel night & won't cover food for my now 4 extra days. Now my 12/28 flight is cancelled, & they're saying I'm stuck AWAY FROM HOME 'til January. I've ALREADY spent hundreds since 1st cancellation. I can't afford this!

What annoys me a lot about having adhd, is that when my brain decides ‘that’s enough’ it’s not negotiable. I can’t just ‘push through and get it done’.

If my brain has decided it doesn’t want to focus anymore, forcing it doesn’t work at all. I just become emotional.
