Media reporting news that @wesstreeting has launched a social care commission to look into how we fund social care in the future.

It’s like no one ever heard of Dilnot.
Or, the other numerous reviews / commissions like the one I myself sat on in 2005.

It will cost £1.2b in year one, £2.4b in year 2. The work has been done.

The real purpose of this commission is to kick the issue into the long grass for a looong time.

If a broadcast journo / anyone is out defending Wragg, it’s odd.

Time for Aubrey Allegretti of @thetimes who ran hard with the Pincher story and led this week with soft stories on Wragg to let us know, did he in any way have a personal relationship with Wragg and if so, what was the nature of that relationship?

He was suddenly silent on the @TalkTV segment with Charlie Rowley former Gove Spad. Rowley is bizarrely defending Wragg, and should maybe declare, what was his personal relationship with Wragg?

It’s called transparency and possible conflict of interest or even, dishonest if of course there were any personal relationship as such and therefore I’m sure, in order to dispel any suspicion both will very quickly make the position clear.
