Day 671

It is absolutely insane that we are still waiting for my mom’s final DNA test results.

For those new here, my mom, Lori Lee “Sled Dog” Malloy, was exhumed on February 1, 2023, after my own extensive investigative efforts led to her unsolved 1993 cold case finally being reopened in late 2022. Our family was told to expect DNA test results in “4-6 weeks.”

It’s been 22 months.
Nearly 96 weeks.
671 days.

I’m not sure what the record is for ‘longest wait for results after an exhumation,’ but this is getting old.

Seriously, imagine your parent being removed from their grave, being told you’ll know how they died in less than 2 months, and then not knowing for the better part of 2 YEARS?

This is where we’re at, folks.

All I want for Christmas is to finally know how my mom died.
