Breaking MS election news: The Mississippi Democratic Party is planning to file a lawsuit asking a Hinds County judge to keep all Hinds County polling precincts open until 9 p.m.

Presley appeared with Dem. state chair Rep. Cheikh Taylor Monday morning, said race isn't about national issues: "we can fix problems in the state of Mississippi with a governor that puts their attention on those problems rather than playing national party politics.”
In the 10 GOP counties with the biggest jumps in absentee ballot requests, the avg increase was 50% and Reeves’ avg victory margin in 2019 was ~2,600 votes.

Presley said tonight he’s pleased with the absentee numbers, and the geography of the upticks benefits Democrats, but he doesn’t read too much into it. He said he’ll work 24 hours a day until polls close Tuesday night “no matter what indicators we may get”
