“Nigerians are not worth fighting for.” I hear that every now and then, and I’ve always disbelieved it.

Yesterday, you proved me right. You all are the reason my detention by @HQNigerianArmy lasted ‘only’ three days. I’m a free man today because of your social media engagements with #FreeFisayoNow and the publications/broadcasts by the traditional media. And I can prove it.

After my arrest at about 2am on Wednesday, I was grilled by different levels of the Army until deep into the night. I didn’t return to my cell until at least 11pm on Wednesday. My case was then forwarded to a superior office that was to interrogate me on Thursday.

Surprisingly, Thursday was uneventful; from morning until night, this office never sent for me. I soon learnt the Army would take “as long as it wanted” to conduct their “investigation” just to establish that I was indeed an investigative journalist.

To my utmost surprise, on Friday morning, at about 11am or thereabouts, I was retrieved from my cell for transfer to the Military Intelligence Brigade (MIB). It was during the transfer that someone who ran into me asked to know my name, after which they said: “You’re the one; you’re in the news.”

Without your pressure, I’d still be in that cell by now, away from civilisation and held incommunicado. So, yes, my freedom is your freedom. This victory exists because of you, you and you. Thank you!

SUMMARY OF WHAT LEADS TO MY CONVERSION FROM #ISLAM TO #CHRISTIANITY.

Note: This post is not meant to criticize Muslims and Islam.

There is no Pastor or Church that got me converted from #Islam to #Christianity. I got converted through the meditation on both the two books (Bible & Quran).

My name is Musa B. Musa am Fulani by tribe, but why did I give my life to Christ?

Simply because Islam gives no guarantee of salvation because Islam recognizes that Jesus is the word of God, "so God the messiah" Therefore the Savior Quran 3:45, unlike Muhammed, Jesus has lived 33 years without ever sin.

Because where Muhammed recommends killing enemies Quran 9:5 Jesus recommends loving them Matthew 5:44, because Muhammed just affirms, but Jesus has confirmed His words with all kinds of miracles and resurrection.

Because Muhammed is asking Muslims to turn to Christianity to get the truth Quran 10:94.

Despite Muhammed's claims to be the seal of prophets, he is dead and will never return, but Jesus will come back and redeem those who follow Him (even according to Islam).

Because despite Jesus Christ was surrounded by several women, He did not seek to have s*x with them, unlike Muhammed, because until this day, the name of Jesus delivers all kinds of captivity, unlike the name of Muhammed.

Because several verses in the Quran acknowledge Christ Jesus as the Saviour.

Because there is light and guidance in the gospel (Bible) (Quran 5:46).

Those who refuse to believe in what God has revealed in the gospel (Bible) are the unbelievers (Quran 5:47).

Because Muhammed recognizes that he doesn't know where he and Muslims will be after death (Quran 46:9).

Because Jesus was born of a virgin (Qur'an 19:20-22).

Because Jesus was faultless (Qur'an 19:19).

Because Jesus was a great healer of the sick (Qur'an 3:49; 5:110).

Because Jesus is a Sign (Qur'an 19:21; 21:91).

Because Jesus is a Mercy (Qur'an 19:21).

Because Jesus can create and give life (Qur'an 3:49).

Because Jesus is the Messiah (Qur'an 4:171).

Because Jesus is the Word of God (Kalima Allah) (Qur'an 4:171).

Because Jesus is the Spirit of God (Ruh Allah) (Qur'an 4:171).

Because Jesus was taken to heaven by God (Qur'an 4:158).

Because Jesus will come back again (Qur'an 3:45).

Because Jesus is the straight path (Qur'an 43:61).

My brothers and sisters, only Jesus Christ saves, He is the way the truth and the life, He loves you and wants to save you, accept Him now before it is too late.....Shalom!

APPRECIATION POST FOR MY MOM!

Since I gave my life to Christ, I am not at peace with my relatives and everyone in the community except my MOM.

They all denied me, and they are after my life just because I converted from Islam to Christianity. But my MOM stood by me and even helped me to run away.
If not for my MOM, I don't know what would have happened to me by now.

When my dad locked me up for a good three days without feeding me, it was my MOM that would sneak to give me water secretly. My father is the chief of #Fulanis of the local government area where we are living.

When he left for a meeting with his people, my MOM used that opportunity to break the padlock and brought me out and gave me one thousand naira to use as transport to run away, because my dad ceased everything from me.

She is aware that my punishment is killing since I have converted from Islam to Christianity, which is why she tried by all means to see that I ran away from my father's house.

Immediately after my dad returned from his meeting, my step-elder brothers told him that it was my MOM who broke the padlock and brought me out. According to her, immediately they told him, he started beating her to the extent that neighbours had to come and rescue her. He refused her, feeding and entering the house until she found me.

It has become hell on earth for her. My dad even told her that he would kill her if she didn't find me. Because of the way he always beat her, she has no option but to run away for her dear life too.

After she left the house, she tried by all means to locate me, which she did. When she came, I had to take her to the hospital for treatment because of the beating my dad beat her.

That is how we continued living together in a single room with my wife and my daughter. After she is fully recovered, I try to find a place for her even though I and my family are all surviving by the grace of God and the support of some other brethren in the Lord.

But to the glory of God, I succeeded in getting an apartment for her where she is presently staying and up to date, Dad did not even care to know her whereabouts. She always encourages me to be committed to what I choose to serve. That is why I respect women very well because no matter what their son or daughter is doing, motherly love is still there.

Please remember us in your daily prayers as I am still trying to bring her to the knowledge of Christ.

They promised to arraign him in court this week, but today is Friday and there is no sign of any such arraignment. He is still being held incommunicado.
