Big writer. Helpless bookworm. I love music. And languages. Have a twin. Violinist. Sorry I've been inactive here for so long. Hopefully that will change!
@chippel@narliebirds There's a lot of awesome stuff in the book that couldn't make it into the movie, but the movie definitely did a couple things better than the book. Way better. I love the movie so much and curse Ryan gosling for being amazing and turning me into a fan
@chippel@narliebirds I honestly refuse to believe that part as described in the book happened. Its SO illogical. All 3 should have been induced by the best medics on earth and then the doctors up on the ISS would take care of the rest as they would have to do anyway. Its so stupid
@chippel@narliebirds This is the most illogical point of the book. The hail mary was built in space and was connected to the ISS where presumably a whole bunch of astronauts overseeing the construction could EASILY take care of system checks. It makes zero sense for all 3 to not be induced on earth
@drcatlars She's completely ridiculous here. That line of reasoning doesn't explain at all why she kept him around and just as involved long before ever finding out about the coma gene
@Lt_Sid8@flydeltajets_ With the acceleration required to get into orbit, the whole chain (and sampler with it) would've been vaporized in the ionized air - a tibit of the book that didn't make it into the movie (not even xenonite is immune to astrophage's insane destructive energy)
@socrates2sox@sabre_tv Press, imo. An event this huge, there's no way they didn't do a global respectful send-off. All three would've been dressed in their finest until the people on the ISS took care of them with hooking them up to the life-support stuff
@thousand_glory The teacher angle helps, but Grace was also a prodigy (or whatever it's called). He went to college as a teenager, insane smart, so he was likely able to pick up and comprehend other scientific fields faster than normal even if they weren't his subject of study
I CANT BREATHE HUGH JACKMAN REALLY DID AN INSTAGRAM LIVE TO SHOW HE FINALLY FINISHED HIS VINCENT VAN GOGH PUZZLE ONLY TO DESTROY IT AND HAVE A MENTAL BREAKDOWN RIGHT AFTER
@acarter4799@Apocalypto_12 Same! xD There are really no words to describe how I feel right now, but you guys were incredible in every way and I can only say THANK YOU
@markiplier -just for the show and all the pure laughter and joy it gave, but seeing&meeting OTHER FANS and feeling joined by something you all love--
@markiplier If you have the opportunity to go see his show, DO IT. Pay that extra buck, push to get there, beg for a ride, whatever. It's worth it. Not-
@markiplier srsly people, never say never. This was supposed to be impossible but @markiplier &friends made it real and just...no words. One more thing-
