When I call on the Western feminists to be as brave as Iranian woman I mean this woman from inside Iran.
Her name is Mahsa and she risked her life to talk for millions of us Iranians who have the same fear when we hear “Allahu Akbar” before any execution in Iran, when we get arrested and beaten up if we dont practice Islamic laws.
The Islamic regime killed her her brother Parsa Shafie during the #WomanLifeFreedom.
In protest, she removed her compulsory hijab in the first anniversary of her brother’s murder.

קראתי שחלק מהצופים, בעיקר בערוץ 14, פחות התחברו לשאלה שהצגתי אמש לרה"מ, אם עליו להתפטר בשל אחריותו לאסון ועל רקע האמון הנמוך המשתקף כלפיו במהלך המלחמה בכל סקרי דעת הקהל.
מיעוטם איחלו לי מיתות שונות ויצירתיות (למעוך כמו ג'וק, להוריד לבור ולהוציא את הסולם, לנהוג כמו במחבלי חמאס ועוד), בעוד אחרים הסתפקו בקללות ובהומופוביה – מפלטם הקבוע של מי שנותרו חסרי תשובה עניינית.
צר לי לאכזב אותם: אני עומד על דעתי שהשאלה לרה"מ (אגב, אחת מבין שתיים) הייתה לגיטימית, ראויה ומתבקשת, ודאי בנסיבות שבהן הוא עצמו עוסק בעתידו הפוליטי תוך כדי המלחמה. בכל מקרה, שום מכונת רעל ברשתות לא תמנע ממני לשאול כפי הבנתי העיתונאית, ובחדשות 13 יש חופש מלא לכל כתב ופרשן לעשות זאת.
כדאי שכולנו נזכור שגם בעת מלחמה, תקשורת חופשית וספקנית היא מקור של חוסן לכל דמוקרטיה. בטוח שכל מפיצי השנאה בתמונות (ומאות נוספים שלא מופיעים כאן מחוסר מקום), ימשיכו לשנן "אחים אנחנו" בזמן שיתקפו את אחיהם בשל חילוקי דעות.
שבוע טוב ובשורות טובות לחיילי המילואים, לתושבי הדרום ולמשפחות החטופים.

To the feminists in Germany and all over the world: Hamas, Islamic Republic and Taliban rape women, harass women and shame our bodies in public, on cameras to creat fear but please be as brave as Iranian women and say that loud:
Islamism and sharia laws are scary.
In Iran we get beaten up, lashes, and killed if we don’t practice Islamic laws, in the West we get canceled in the name of Islamophobia if we just share our tragic stories.

Phobia is an irrational fear but our fear of Islamism, our fear of hearing “Allahu Akbar” before execution and terror is rational.

Do you not think that I am safe miles away from Iran? No, the Islamic republic send killers or higher assassins in the West to get rid of us who dare to speak up.
If we don’t get united to end Islamic Republic and it’s proxies, they will get united to end all of us who want freedom, equality, and dignity.

You don’t get it.
It’s not about an UNRWA teacher who held an Israeli kid hostage in his house.
It’s all about how for 75 years you have destroyed the future of generations of Palestinians, including my family.
My cousins in Arab countries are still not citizens - not even the grandkids of the real refugees.
My cousins in Lebanon are not even allowed to work in certain jobs.
And my friends in Gaza and the West Bank continue to be victims of incitement in their own schools.

And it’s all your fault.
Shut UNRWA down.

You are not naïve. If you fail to recognize that Hamas initiated a war, that it is devoted to the murder of every single Israeli (and possibly Arabs too), that it continues to fight, launch rockets, kill and torture hostages - you are losing a very basic sense of decency. Your numerical comparison only shows contempt for both Israelis and Palestinians. The war could stop in five minutes: if Hamas, a fundamentalist organization that took control of Gaza in a coup d'état, would lay down its weapons, its leaders would receive safe passage, the PA would take over the Gaza Strip with international assurances, and all hostages would be freed. But again, you do not want this war to stop. You prefer to sit in NYC, feeling good within your social circle. We don't want this war; we want it to stop. It cannot stop while there is a powerful armed group on our border that has attempted ethnic cleansing and promises to do it over and over again. Have a great day in NY and happy holidays
