In the early 2000s, Lance championed women's football @BBCSport inc. coverage of the 2005 Euros & 2007 World Cup. He was an ally when few showed interest, helping to bring it mainstream. He promoted female reporters & in co-comms. A man ahead of the curve. Gone far too soon. 💔
