@SkySportsF1 Ironic that Mercedes outspending rivals led to the new rules. And even more so that writing off a rivals car puts a double whammy on a competitor. Nothing is simple. Hence the debate.
@wtf1official Personally. I like the idea of a referee who runs the race/game and operates within some guidelines but with a goal to allow racing to happen. We tried it this year and the best racing happened. Keep this going - don’t stop it because someone didn’t like the result. That’s sport!
@LJSkydancer@Susie_Wolff Mercedes and Lewis knew they were exposed the second the safety car came out. If they did not have this technicality to cite The management of Mercedes’ would have been under the spotlight from Lewis and the public for sheer incompetence . Hence this game of blaming the FIA .poor
@JeremyClarkson Same stewards who let Lewis refit new Tyres at Silverstone and go on to win after pushing his rival off the track. Or bottas taking max out in Hungary (best team mate ever - right?) Mmm. How quick we forget the long season and such amazing racing. It’s sport. Get over it!
@MBrundleF1 I’ve watched F1 for 45 years and had fallen out of love until this year. Why - boring DRS overtakes, winners leading start to finish, etc. This year has been amazing - wheel to wheel racing and drivers going flat out! Embrace this - don’t throw out the ingredients of a great yr!
@MercedesAMGF1 You would think that Lewis might have figured out what pushing a driver into the curbs would do in that place. Not worthy of a multi world champ. Used to be a big fan but that has ebbed away past 2 seasons. And after Silverstone Lewis should choose his criticisms carefully…
