@QScHlVQ1EEVyJBP@hikingshawty It's in an obsolete red phone booth, so not on wheels. There are quite a few od these around rural England. The defib is there in case of emergency.
@DaveJon63336865@Hansymbele@MicahDaMusic Watch Blood Fruit. The Irish have supported SA for so many years, never knowing the outcome. Such a brilliant partnership
@ENortonHistory@bridge_53@britishmuseum I stumbled upon it quite by accident when trying to kill some time in Reading. It was me and one or two other couples looking at it. Beautiful piece with very detailed descriptions of the scenes. 10/10 recommend it.
@MickOKeeffe Clearly you know very little about the Irish fight against Apartheid in South Africa & the almost 3 year battle of the 11 Dunnes ladies who were invited to meet with Desmond Tutu when he won his Nobel Peace Lrize, & the fact that Nelson Mandela went over to Ireland to meet them
@BiancavanWyk16 I now live in the UK, but every single chance I get to tell people about the beauty of the land and people, I take it. I may no longer live there but it shaped who I am and will forever be a part of my soul. 🇿🇦
@FPLMate I am an immigrant from S Africa. I was told to my face that I'm the "right kind of immigrant" as I'm white and speak English. I was horrified. The nasty little man scuttled off before I could tell him off. My face did the talking for me. Racism has no place in a decent society.
@CrazyVibes_1 Yes!!!!! I do exactly this for women starting their weights journey. I always approach newbies and help them with their form as I don't want them to get hurt and quit. I am mid-50s and I tell them that rather be the oldest in the gym than they youngest in the care home.
