Women stop running in the dark in winter. Women learn to walk under street lights, carry car keys in their hands, report to friends when they leave a venue or start their journey home on their mobile. Try not to travel alone. Women learn from very early on to try & mitigate for sexual assault & abuse. Nearly every female I know has been abused at some level. Women leave spaces they feel threatened in. It takes a very brave woman to say no, loudly for others to hear.

One got 1st Female. His total haul of 1st Female finishes is now over 70. He got 1st Male once in nearly 5 years running in the Male category.

Again….No one has ever been banned from sport (unless caught taking illegal testosterone of course!) men are just being asked to play sport with other men, exactly the same way we ask 15yr olds not to go in the under 10s! It’s really very straight forward. Stop bloody cheating!

Men are physically stronger (we compare average with average, not elite female with crap male!) its why they should never be in women’s sport, ever. At all abilities. Intimate spaces are segregated by sex because men commit 98% of sexual assaults on women & children, including trans identifying males. In fact the percentage in prison for sexual assault is higher than men! The msm don’t want these stats promoted because it doesn’t fit their agenda. Feel free to do your own googling. MOJ figures. No human can change their biological sex & women are never a subset of the own sex! Time to be truthful & say a huge NO. Men need to find safe spaces for non conforming trans identifying males who are still male, not expect women to move over at great cost to safety & fairness. It’s not complicated nor rocket science.

Yesterday this man, Allen Cornwall, refused to be an official and pole vault event judge at the Maine state meet in protest of a boy competing in the girls’ pole vault event.

“They’re [trans-identified boy] going to be the conference champion, quote unquote girls Conference champion. They’ll be the quote unquote girls state champion for the class B athlete. And these girls that have been competing for years, working towards this, are just being sidelined, and it’s really disgusting,” said Cornwall.

One of the great things about working in sport is I get to spend every day meeting athletes and their support networks.

In the most perfect moments of my life, there was a supportive voice right next to me. My father was on the sidelines supporting me as an enthusiastic parent as well as my coach. I know this is true of many sportswomen and men.

Becoming an Olympic or Paralympic athlete is rarely easy. It is a hard and often unpredictable journey which is why we all need support - to keep us focussed, motivated and grounded.

I believe in the importance of every athlete discovering their potential and feeling supported so I would like to say thank you to all the dads, mums, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbours, teachers and coaches that believe, encourage and support aspiring athletes to reach their potential.
