Dear @Ofgem & @KwasiKwarteng. Pls reverse the recent burden shift to the standing charge (rather than unit rates) for the next price cap.

It was regressive & means cutting usage has less impact on bills. Even those using NO energy now pay £165/yr for electricity, £99 for gas.

Or does this look good with regards to October going up 47% - in KWH what would October look like at 47% rise

@MartinSLewis @thismorning Daft question again, why are we looking at 25% more than the price cap if it’s going up 47% surely we should be looking at deals no more than 47% higher than the price cap. Sorry can’t figure out where 25% comes

@MartinSLewis @thismorning @MartinSLewis can you give us rough figures on KWH to aim to look at, IE electricity no more than 35.50 and gas 9.22 for example as this way we can see clearer. Im getting an offer from EDF electricity 44.42KWH and gas 12.45KWH I know this is high but I don’t know what to aim for
