killing at least 6 people and injuring 9 others.

The vessel was carrying 45 passengers—including minors—on a coral reef trip in the Red Sea when it went down just 1km from shore.

4 Russian citizens are among the confirmed dead, per the Russian embassy. The fate of others remains unclear.

Most survivors were rescued and taken to hospitals. 21 ambulances responded to the disaster.
