The modern Hamasa Model Village, built on 79.4 hectares of land as part of the Rural Corridor Development Program, was officially inaugurated today.

The village is equipped with modern sanitation facilities, livestock shelters, vegetable gardens, biogas systems, and beehives, all designed to improve farmers’ livelihoods and productivity. These integrated amenities ensure comprehensive prosperity and a better quality of life for the residents.

This model village is a tangible result of our reform efforts, elevating the dignity, comfort, and economic well-being of rural communities to a higher level.

From single sleeper laying to assembled track installation – we’re picking up momentum, one step at a time.

For months , our track crews mastered the art of single-track sleeper laying across the Ethio-Djibouti Railway. That foundation taught us the value of precision, patience, and incremental progress – and now, it’s paving the way for something bigger.

We’ve recently begun using lifting cranes to install assembled track-sleeper units, a major leap in efficiency and coordination. And soon, we’ll be rolling out commercial track-laying machines – a game-changer for our infrastructure journey.

Every small step counts. Every lesson learned builds the future.
